My parents got us this great game for Christmas....Qwirkle. Chris and I are enjoying playing it in the evenings while Aiden is asleep. But the great thing about this game is that it is a multipurpose toy! Aiden doesn't have any building blocks or legos or anything like that, but now that we have Qwirkle, he doesn't need those things cuz he can build with the Qwirkle blocks. But what's even better is that its not only a motor-skills development toy, its also teaching Aiden colors and shapes (you've got circles, squares, diamonds (which are still squares to Aiden), stars and flowers. AND he practices counting the blocks in English and Khmer when he plays with them!
You can't do much better than that!!
